Hi there, Since travelling an awful lot on trains, coaches and the occasional overpriced Uber over summer, I finally began to jump onto the podcast bandwagon as my way of helping the time pass. Being such a fan of YouTube creators, I had always been quite visual and wasn’t sure that podcasts would entertain me in the same way videos did. If video wasn’t available, I had since always reached for music as my travel entertainment so again I saw no need for podcasts. But, with all of the travelling I was doing and not getting into much new music at the time, I got tired of listening to the same playlists over and over (plus unreliable signal on trains often prohibited me from watching YouTube), and finally gave podcasts a go. I did not need any other reason to support and love them more than I do but this is quite possibly the most respectable and unprecedented move of their career in a long time. The general consensus of being a Radiohead fan is that getting direct information, updates or public appearances from the band are becoming more and more few and far between. Hello hello, Contrary to what you might think, I am not dead (a little on the inside after uni but what’s new). Like always at this time of year my blog has been very much on the back burner of my priorities, but my degree is done (I cannot believe it) and I am looking forward to paying some attention to the creative parts of my life that don’t involve my theology degree - what a wild concept. *squeels* Hey guys, As you might remember a good few posts ago now, I vowed that I was going to get back into playing and partially re-learning guitar, after not properly practising since I started uni. I set this promise in stone by buying a new guitar and amp to keep in my London flat and, though I have not reached anywhere close to where I want to be skill-wise, and won’t realistically be able to do that till I have escaped the perils of third year, I am starting to get better and my passion is certainly back. Hey hey, I’ve been listening to a lot of new music recently and had hoped this would have been a regular feature (I have only posted one of these, I flopped sorry), BUT this is the perfect time to bring it back.
